Arachidonic acid (10 µM, 24 h) treatment decreased the contractility of coronary arteries in rats. Summary data showing the concentration-dependent contractile responses to (A) 60 mM K+, (B) increasing concentrations of U46619 (0.01, 0.03, 0.1, 0.3, and 1 µM), and (C) CaCl2 (1, 2.5, 5, and 10 mmol/L) after incubation with AA. The data are presented as the means ± SEMs, with n = 6. Statistical significance is indicated as *P < 0.05 and **P < 0.01 compared with the normal control group.
